Italian delicatessen Experience the passion of authentic Italian food.
Welcome This is our story
Lakeside lovers of Italian food and fare, rejoice.
Feast your eyes and your stomach on Fredeli Friday’s (summer only), right on the Warners Bay Esplanade. By day, Fredeli is stocked, almost to the rafters, with an assortment of traditional and imported Italian products, including meat, cheese, and sauces, local smallgoods, such as olive oil and honey, plus dried pasta, muesli, coffee and much more. By night, on Fridays, in summer, Fredeli hosts a small crowd of in-the-know Novocastrians who’ve come to experience a three-course set menu based on authentic Italian recipes.
Watch from the window as people pass by, boats moor just off the shoreline, and the smell of fair-dinkum Italian food wafts from behind the deli counter. It’s enough to inspire real or imagined memories of warm Italian evenings sipping wine.

Quality Italian Coffee The Best Blend in the City
The town of Cento is located in the province of Ferrara, in the region of Emilia-Romagna. Roberto Balletti began roasting coffee here in 1993. Since then, Tosteria del Corso has become one of the most celebrated artisan producers of Italian coffee.
Tosteria del Corso’s ‘Corso Impero’ coffee blend is a classically Italian mixture of 80% Arabica beans and 20% Robusta beans. This blend is specifically designed to provide a perfect coffee, every time.
This selection of beans has been sourced from the best stocks in Africa and South America, blended and then toasted to perfection.
Another indication of the quality of coffee produced by Tosteria del Corso is that the beans are artfully blended before they are roasted. Many companies blend their coffees after roasting, which can mask inferior quality beans and poor practices.
The coffee has an intense aroma, with a round and well-balanced body. It has a full flavour with a long-lasting aftertaste typical of Italian-style espresso coffee.
